Who we support

Nutrition support connected to everyday goals.

NDIS Dietetics may be appropriate when a participant's disability affects eating, nutrition, food access, meal preparation, routine, health management or independence. Support is based on the participant's goals, needs and available funding.

  • Limited food variety or difficulty meeting nutritional needs.
  • Meal planning, shopping and food-preparation skill development.
  • Weight change, low appetite or risk of malnutrition.
  • Disability-related barriers to maintaining a balanced diet.
  • Nutrition support for chronic health conditions where this relates to functional goals.
  • Building independence and confidence with food choices and routines.
  • Education for families, carers and support workers.

What support can look like

Our NDIS Dietetics approach

Practical, measurable and participant-centred.

The focus is not simply on providing nutrition information. Lily works to understand the participant's communication needs, sensory preferences, daily environment, support network, budget, food access, functional capacity and personal goals. Recommendations are practical, measurable and designed to be used by the participant and the people supporting them.

  • Participant-centred goal setting.
  • Collaborative planning with consent.
  • Simple resources matched to the participant's learning needs.
  • Strategies that can be embedded into everyday routines.
  • Review of progress and barriers over time.
  • Clear communication with support coordinators and relevant providers.
